Sound trip

Sep 25, 2005 10:40

Went to my cousin Mico's third birthday yesterday. It was in Cavite, and we got stuck in traffic, but it gave me a chance to hear 90's songs such as Rivermaya's "214", Pizzicato 5's "Sweet Soul Revue", and Eraserhead's "Magasin" and "Ang Huling El Bimbo" on the radio again. That, apart from seeing the signboards of "Harry Water" water filling station, and "Alindog Funeral Services" (!) made the trip worthwhile.
Also heard the better part of Jack Johnson's "In Between Dreams" album on the SkyCable advisory channel that evening.

Currently in my CD player: Disc 1 of the "Eraserheads Anthology", which I supposedly bought for my brother, but is almost always in the CD drawer in my room. Heh.

Countdown to my parents' departure: 6 hours, 7 minutes. And they're handing out the travel insurance documents and other legal papers "just in case" to Ate. It's depressing.
