After an hour of yoga on my new yoga mat (I'd forgotten yoga mats are supposed to be sticky!  what joy!) I really ought to ice my ankle.  But when it's 15 degrees outside, feels like 2 degrees says the Weather Channel, I just can't bring myself to do it.

Why is it that bitter cold outside makes my foot worse, yet putting ice on it inside makes it better?  This does not seem just.
