Gave Blood Today...
So I gave blood for the first time ever today...it wasn't so bad. Usually I haven't done it since I've been tired and didn't want to deal with it when they've approached me. I lied and said that I never had sex with men...basically since I think the rule is stupid, and I haven't done anything to put me at any more elevated risk for HIV than straight girls like engage in unprotected sex. So I don't know if that was unethical..to lie about it. The woman who was interviewing me looked at that question first...I think she was like "whoa faggot, we don't want your blood", but she didn't stop me so whatever. Then afterwards some dude fainted at the table...he was pretty skinny. Oh well..I think I'll do it again. I don't know if any blood banks don't discrimninate based on the gender of your sexual partners...it didn't say anything about heterosexual engaging in unprotected sex. So whatever...
