NYC celebrity sightings
Celebrities love NYC because they can disappear into the crowds with no one noticing them. Well, sometimes a few catch my eye. Here are my recent gawker-stalker-esque sightings:
Peter Hermann (a.k.a. Mariska Hargitay's hubby [both are seen on TV's Law and Order SVU]) - buying veggies at the Farmer's Market in Union Square Park, Wednesday before Thanksgiving
Fred Armisen (a.k.a. Saturday Night Live alum) - walking on one of the W 70s Streets. We were driving around in circles trying to get to our apartment the night before Thanksgiving, but all the surrounding roads were shut down by the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade balloon and float setup, which was right around the corner from us. We would not have recognized him if not for those glasses (:
Bebe Neuwirth ( a.k.a. Assistant DA on TV's Law and Order: Trial By Jury) - walking in the rain on Columbus Avenue between W 75th and 76th, Thanksgiving morning, trying to catch the subway from an entrance that wasn't shut down by the parade.
Previous [Summer] sightings were of Iman (shopping in SoHo), Dennis Farina (at his Park Avenue apt.), and a few weeks ago, Albert Brooks (at his Madison Avenue apartment near the high 80s, low 90s).
I'm a dork, I know. But it's fun!!!
