5-weeks ago, I ordered a $900 netbook with built-in 3G modem. At the time of order, it was to be built/delivered in 3-5-days.
Upon payment, it went to 3-weeks. "Backordered" the sales guy told me.
At the 3-week mark, I started emailing and calling, and finally got a "We are awaiting the new model, it will be here in a few days, and ready next week".
A few days ago, I started emailing again, finally sending another nasty email, and finally getting a response.
"We can have it ready today, but the 3G module won't fit inside, so I'll refund that".
No, I am not very happy. Not with the repeated lies, not with the lack of communication, and especially not with lending them money for 5-weeks in order to not get what I ordered.
*edit* refund demanded and promised, off to look at a replacement.
