jumping on the circuswagon

Having just gotten back from silks a little early, I feel motivated to start doing what a few of the other people there have been doing: starting an LJ category of "silks journals"! Go go gadget silly jargon we make up! Without further ado:

Today was incredibly warm, pretty much too warm to work out hard. Most people seemed to be leaving early. But I got through my routine twice, and also had a time on the fabric that I practiced the rebecca wrap and a split-silk candycane rollup. I am getting a lot more comfortable with the split-silk candycane, but I'm still not nearly clean with it.

I also practiced a drop that clara_girl taught me last time that I have no name for at all, and some hip keys.

Finally, I'm still working on my meathook. Still not quite getting it, an issue that is probably equal parts strength, flexibility, and balance that I'm lacking. It seems to be suprisingly a little easier from the lyra than the silks, so I'll try that again next time.

Other than that, I stretched a lot, and contact juggled a little. Come to think of it, I think I left my sphere there. Oh well, I'll pick it up next week.
