Argh, writing fic is getting difficult. :\

So, some of you may not know, but I've been the author of a rather popular Kh/HP crossover for some time now. I figure of course it's not perfect, and maybe the only reason people even like it is because there aren't any other good ones out there, but still...

There's this reviewer. Every time he/she reviews, he/she either gives a lot of criticism right out, or when I reply, it kind of turns into an argument about how good my writing is. So I was kind of hoping he/she would just... I dunno, either go away, or try to ACTUALLY be more helpful. Like, he/she says that my characters are bland, but obviously I can't tell so could he/she tell me how they could be spiced up a little more? And I'm not about to brag, but every other reviewer that has mentioned my characterization says it's spot-on, even when I change things up from canon a little.

And then she compares my story to Twilight. I was getting a little offended by this point.

So, it's probably the longest review I've ever gotten, and it's full to the brim with criticisms that, frankly, could be put a little nicer. And then at the very end, he/she tells me that he/she hopes their review boosted my confidence, creativity, and willingness as a writer.

Um. To put it bluntly, NO, it didn't.

-can't handle criticism-, way to go
