Sixty-eighth book started & finished in 2010: Bone and Jewel Creatures by Elizabeth Bear (131 pp).
Was it interesting? It's the story of a very old artificer, and her last bone and jewel creatures. And also a battle against an old friend (and enemy), a necromancer.
Well-written? It is. I found myself tearing up at the finale, in White Castle. If a book can bring you to tears in White Castle, then it's well written. Or my meds are messed up that day -- but they weren't, so it is.
Would I read it again? I would.
Keep or give away? Keep.
Would I read a sequel/further adventures? I would be interested in reading further adventures in that world. Or prior ones, for that matter.
read a book!
