A N I M E ( yes my first post back is about anime, DEAL WITH IT )
So a few months ago I started watching this anime called Bleach. When I was younger, like so many other ppl who watch anime I was into dragonball. At the time I thought that it was great but as I grew older and saw more and more anime I realized it actualy SUCKED!! But I think the reason I liked it so much was cause of how strong the characters in the anime got. I thought it was so cool how the could blow up a planet with out even breaking a sweat, lol. As I watched better and better animes I began to understand why Dragonball wasn't as good as I thought it was. Some animes like Samuri Champloo had amazing character development which made you care alot about the main ppl in the story. Other animes had really good style, like cowboy beebop. The way they combined the old west with space, anime and the blues was rediculous. But what I found was that I always missed the crazy power that the ppl had in dragon ball. Sure some animes had some cool fights like Naruto but it just never mattered how cool it was because in my mind I always new that the characters from dragonball were the strongest. Now I was never sure why I always compared the animes int that way untill I started watching Bleach.
Back when I was in hightschool I took philosophy with Mr Write. ( not sure if I spelt his name the correct way)In the class we learned about a shit load of heavy stuff, as you could have guessed. But I think the thing that stuck out the most was when we were talking about the matrix. More importantly the concept that this world is not real. Mr Write taught us about a philosphy that explained that all we see is not real, mearly shadows of the real world, and that the reason there are so many songs and so many paintings, etc, etc... is because we are always trying to get closer and closer to something that exsists in the real world, something that is so amzing and so powerfull that is perfect.
After a while of watching Bleach I started thinking about other animes and how bad the were compared to it. I think Bleach is an attempt at trying to creat the "real" anime. It has action, suspence,action, drama, comedy and some action. I believe that there is such a thing as perfect, I believe in right and wrong in every situation. My world is black and white and I luv it that way. It gives me stregth having convictions the way that I do. At times it gets me into alot of trouble, telling ppl that I don't believe there is even one situation where killing or lying is acceptable usualy gets ppl anrgy at me, lol. But Bleach is just such a good anime, when I watch it it makes me wonder how anyone could not like anime. It isn't a good anime ppl, its simply G O O D ! there is no argument to this. Deal with it, lol.
