Some people just don't appreciate the trouble I go to.

Honestly, I recruit my son to go record some home videos for me and that baka starts pitching a hissy fit because apparently being caught playing patty-cake with his baby girl is a fate worse than death. This is what normal families do. They record some of these moments because everyone knows babies (especially Saiyajin babies) grow up so fast and there's only so much time when they're so young and innocent and only so much time when parents can be so close to them. Of course, it goes without saying that Vegeta and Vicki were absolutely adorable and hearing the Prince of all Saiyajin chanting "patty-cake, patty-cake, baker's man" was simply too great a video opportunity to pass up...

Anyway, I'm in the Microgravity Room right now with some of my favorite helpers. We're almost finished putting this thing together; tonight, we're just finishing up some wiring work and then, if we feel like it, running a few tests. Trunks and BJ seem to be under the impression that we'll be up and running before the night is over. Piper and I are being a bit more conservative, saying that it'll probably be late when we get the tests done, but Bra and Tanomi are both telling me that once I really start in on this I won't be finished until we're all floating around, unless something goes wrong with the tests. And they might be right. I haven't spent a late night working on a project since before Vicki was born, but I seem to remember a certain Prince stalking into my lab a couple times during my second trimester. "Woman! You are not going to endanger the health of our child puttering around in this room until three in the morning!" *giggles* Honestly. though he did have a point Right now, he's busy with Miko. I think they planned on training for a while, but I know I also asked her to show him some musical hand clapping motor coordination enhancing games to play with Vicki. After all, though he seems to have mixed feelings about them, it's clear that Vicki just adores spending the time with him.

All right, time to go tinker with some wires now. It's been way too long since I've worked on a project like this.
