Such delightful days.
Let me tell you, it's been interesting lately. Between Ken the Prick and a newly teething Vicki, I haven't gotten a whole lot of time to rest. Today, though, things started to look up. The phone company finally quit being lazy and facilitated the home number change. I'm hoping this one'll last at least two or three months. I can dream, can't I? And if nothing else, I managed to get some dreaming in this afternoon. Vegeta was kind enough to volunteer to keep Vicki busy for the afternoon, once he was armed with a bag of bagels. But it's obvious that he's getting rather worn down, too. I woke up and got everything ready to start dinner, then went to find them only to discover that they'd both fallen asleep -- Vicki in her swing chair, Vegeta in the rocking chair next to her. Like father like daughter, honestly. It was absolutely adorable. *smirk*
Trunks and Bra have been helping out where they can, too, outside of school and their busy social lives. Even with a baby sister around, we can't deprive them of the opportunity to be normal teens (well, as normal as any of us can get) and spend time with their friends. And they both seem to be doing well. Trunks got himself a new PS2 game last weekend and he's been having friends over after school to play with it, and Bra's been invited to a sleepover Friday night. Good for them, as long as they do their homework and get their chores done.
And as long as they don't raid my cupcake stash to feed said friends. Again. *sighs* I suppose this means I'll just have to do some shopping tomorrow.
