Irony....simily.....nope not even close....just stupid
Ok Ok I had to laugh after this call I had received today....not the funny joyful happy laugh, but the my gawd..that is so stupid it should be on some worlds stupidest ideas video.
I got a call from a man who wanted to know why his account was de-activated. I noticed it was deactived for spamming...no big whoop...but I couldn't tell him why it was deactivated and boy am I glad I couldn't because I would hate to have to reason the deactivation considering what the customer told me next. He was miffed and wanted to cancel all of his services with yahoo including his mass email service.
I calmly explained that yahoo is extremely anti-spam and would not offer a service like that. The customer calmly informed me to go to http://smallbusiness.yahoo.com/marketing/emarket.php and explain why yahoo was offering this service if it was anti-spam. I was dumbfounded.....his account was deactivated for spamming and a yahoo partner was providing the spamming services.
I keep wanting to classify this as ironic....but its not ironic...its just stupid
