FAKE is my absolute favourite manga, I love these guys =)

(Mostly Dee and Ryo, but the others are fun too. Ted doesn't get much of a look in, but I like him.)

I never thought about all the malarkey redheads must have to put up with. Too busy putting up with all the "dumb blonde" crap (and usually being the smartest person in the friggin' room, in spite of it). I wonder if there's anything darker-haired people have to put up with?

Being a dark blonde myself, I wouldn't know. The dumb blonde image fits my sister a lot of the time though.

Mum was sort of ginger, but not a bright auburn, more strawberry blonde.

Redheads get picked on a lot.

A lot of Mom's side of the family (mostly Grandma's half) has had dark hair; I'm totally an expression of Grandpa's genes (both of us white-blonde, until I got older). No clue about my father's side, though he had dark hair, too. So if dark-haired people get any teasing, I've never heard about it, lol. Lucky them, if not!

They probably don't.

My dad and his sister and half-brother were dark-haired, one of my mother's sisters had dark hair too, but the rest all had light brown or dark blonde hair, except my gingery mum.

I really enjoyed this look into Ted. There is so little about him in canon.

Which means we can give him any kind of background we like ;)

In my head, he's the eldest child of a big family, four or five siblings. I don't know if him being Irish-American is canon, but you have to have an Irish cop if it's New York anyway, don't you?
