Wow lucky Ianto is a crack shot. Perhaps the alien should have gone for him first as he seems the bigger threat being such a sharp shooter lol.

Great ficlet

Hitting something that big and that close wasn't hard, and Jack could have done it just as easily. Believe it of not, sometimes they do actually practice shooting when they're down in the firing range. Torchwood agents need to be good shots. They don't live long if they're not.

I always look at walls and ceilings if I think there's something nasty around, being profoundly arachnophobic. Good reactions from Ianto. He'll enjoy Jack's thanks when they get home

Ianto is very well trained. He and Jack do sometimes practice on the firing range. With guns.

I'm an arachnophobe myself, so I do too, but Ianto isn't so he's less inclined to look up!
