Cheese on toast, that's what I miss!

Thank you!

I miss grilled cheese on toast!. I hadn't done that in ages because my grill broke down. I just got a cafe grill though.:)

Yummy!

Is it food allergies?

It can be a hassle to your health. I have good and bad days.

I dislike it if I'm at a social event and I have to explain why I can't eat particular foods. People assume because I'm slim that I don't like to eat, which is not the case.

Same here! Except I don't go to social events now, and if I have to go out, I can't eat anything beforehand.

I want to be able to eat and enjoy food, I don't want to be so seriously underweight, but the doctors have been less than helpful trying to find out what's causing my problems. =(

I forgot if you told me about seeing a nutritionist?
I had to go through a trial period of avoiding certain foods.

Avocado is good source of natural fat.

I was told to drink milkshakes/thick shakes but then sometimes I'm allergic to diary so its hard to find the right balance.

I wish I could be more helpful to you.:(

The hospital is supposed to be referring me to a dietician.

Milk gives me bad indigestion, plus it's a source of cholesterol and mine is too high.

Hopefully the dietician will be able to help.

That's okay, I don't expect you to solve my problems, but it's nice to know someone understands what it's like =)

Mine was both and nutritionist and a dietitian. It kind of goes hand in hand I suppose. She gave me information that's suppose to help with my symptoms.

But I have a high metabolism so it was more that I don't stress myself out if I wanted to put on a bit of weight.

I guess nothing really is a guarantee. Its more about trying to tolerate your condition.

I believe it helps to know that other people go through the same kind of things. I feel a sense of relief if I talk to someone and they understand.

It makes up for some of the things that don't seem to make sense in life.

It does really help =)

I'm hoping when I do eventually get an appointment that this dietician or whatever will be able to give me useful advice.
