The day Jess found him is a good day to celebrate.

The best really, because if he hadn't been found his life would have been over before it started.

Thank you!

True, Jess had his faults.
But finding Dee and giving him to Mother was the best thing Jess ever did.

Dee ended up with a wonderful life.

Yeah, I like that. Jess probably did other good things before he went on the take, but finding and saving Dee was probably the thing he was proudest of =)

Dee still thinks of Jess as his dad.
He was mad at what Jess hes became.

Jess started out a good guy, people change.
Some for good, some not so good.

But despite what Jess became, Dee never stopped loving him, he was just disappointed in him. Dee is a better cop than Jess was because he refuses to let go of his principles. He'll never take bribes to look the other way, or sell information.

Dee is who he is because of Jess.
For good or bad.

He also showed Dee what not to do.
There is a lot that Dee will not do.
That was from Mother.

Jess failed as a cop, but not as a parent. That's what Dee will remember.
