Fic Of The Week - Week Fifty Three
Well, that's odd. There are 52 weeks in a year, so how can this be Fic of the Week post 53 and it's still 2012? Oh well, maybe 2012 was just a bit bigger on the inside.
Here it is, the last Fic of the Week post for 2012. Next Monday I'll continue with week 54, so it doesn't get confusing!
This week's fic is from the lovely hab318princess . Written for and first posted 3 years ago almost to the day, 50 First Dates - Torchwood Style is based on the film 50 First Dates. There are 8 chapters.
Here's the plot of the movie with the Torchwood alterations in brackets:
Plot: Henry Roth (Captain Jack Harkness) is a veterinarian (alien hunter) living in Hawaii (Cardiff) who enjoys the company of vacationing women (and men). He leaves the playboy life behind after he falls for Lucy (Ianto Jones) who suffers from short-term memory loss. Since she can never remember meeting him, Henry (Jack) has to romance Lucy (Ianto) every single day and hope that she falls for him.
Just the fluffy romance (with added Torchwood) I need at New Year!
