He's getting cuddles from Dee, that's helping, but he really is an emotional wreck at that point. Things will get better, he just needs to get through this low point...

Ryo needs to learn to ask for cuddles though, he's not used to being able to get them, too self reliant to realise that Dee will always be willing to comfort him when he needs it.

I don't know this fandom, but I do know that the story's anguish was palpable and heart wrenching. Poor guy. What a dilemma to face.

It's one of the most emotional scenes in the manga; Ryo became a cop because he wanted to solve his parents' murder, but at this point I think he truly wishes he hadn't found out, because knowing the truth just makes everything so much worse. Thankfully, Dee is there to take care of him and make sure he doesn't do anything stupid. In fact Dee was perfectly willing to shoot Leo himself if that was what it took to keep Ryo from ruining his life and career. Now that's true love.
