*grins* I love the thought of the rift dumping loads of unrelated objects on Cardiff all at once! On the rare occasions that I do go out, I'm always seeing odd things lying around on the pavements - odd socks, a shoe, three freshly dug potatoes, a skewer... Always makes me wonder why? How does someone lose one shoe without noticing? Maybe it's small offshoots of the rift!

Nosy will gladly accept all the hugs it gets! It likes to hug and be hugged and is very good at giving hugs! Techically, it's neither male nor female, which I though would be fun to play with! I like the idea of human biological rules not applying to aliens =)

Definitely sounds like a small Rift pocket! They crop up all over the place! I'm sure Andy wouldn't mind you calling him in!

I once found half a can of orangeade in the middle of our back lawn! Our garden is inaccessible except through the house and we don't drink orangeade 0_o I blamed the local foxes at the time, but now I wonder...

This already has me chuckling: ...Jack opened the rear passenger side window and Nosy stuck its head out, much like a dog, humming enthusiastically into the breeze. :D

I love how Nosy is so amenable! It seems a like such a happy-go-lucky creature. So glad Jack and Ianto found it and not some outraged farmers hell-bent of revenge!

I'm really curious to see how Nosy will react to seeing the Hub so I'll shut up and go back to reading now. :)

For the most part, Nosy likes everyone and everything, and it enjoys all the new experiences it's having. Maybe I'll let Jack and Ianto take it out to the countryside occasionally for a slither in the grass, lol! Hope you like the rest!

Gwen is currently on vacation so I haven't written her reaction yet - I have something specific in mind for a future storyline, when I get that far. There are 5 main Nosy-Verse stories so far, which only cover Nosy's first couple of days with Torchwood - the day it's 'captured' and the following day. The Christmas fic is set several months in the future so there are at least 2 fics that I need to write which will fit in between and one of those will include Gwen's first encounter with Nosy when she arrives back at work a bit earlier than expected...

Owen's gruff exterior hides a bit of a soft centre, I think. He's a dog lover and just sees Nosy as an extra long dog, sort of. He and Nosy are going to become great friends as Nosy finds him very entertaining, lol!

Jack really isn't an expert at sexing alien species - mostly because he really doesn't care what gender they are, or even if they have genders. If they're attractive and willing, the question of gender never comes up, lol!
