Tardis is right, but I like to think that Ianto would come to his senses before the boxer guilty !!! And have found ingenious solution they are putting in place.

Garten seems preoccupied ... But we still do not know why! Is skeptical, annoyed, worried or suspicious with respect to using Ianto?

I like the treasures of Jack. Why does not he keeps his bracelet? This is another punishment?

Garten has lost all the rest of his extended family and still feels guilty for getting his wife and child out of harm's way while leaving everyone else to their fate. He was still suspicious of Ianto, but now they've talked he's sure they can trust their rescuer. still, everyone else he cared for is gone. How will he tell the people back home?

Jack left his wrist strap in storage to keep it safe. All the recordings on it are too precious to him to risk it getting lost, stolen or damaged.

I am really liking this. I feel sad for Jack, but hopeful, and Ianto has really come into his own. I like the aliens that have been picked up along the way, too. Worth waiting for, this.

I'm hoping to update more regularly now it's finished.

Ianto needed the chance to find his feet and learn what he was capable of. By the time he meets up with Jack again, they'll be meeting as equals, with Ianto as capable as Jack is.
