Well, not right away, but eventually - this ties in with my chaptered fic Through Time and Space, and Ianto hasn't managed to find Jack yet. He will soon though, I only have two or three more chapters to write ;)

In fact, as I understand it, when there was an explosion, coral, for Ianto knew its importance and boarded with him?

If it is a reunion actor, be it by its inimitable smell of coffee "made by Ianto" ????

The TARDIS coral, as it grew, probably found memories of the coffee machine in Ianto's mind and pulled it inside, accepting it as part of what they would become.

Yes, the smell of Ianto's coffee will play a part in the reunion..
