We were, which is partly why I posted this one. It was written back in January, but I have such a backlog of unposted fics that it's a bit ridiculous. There are over 200 ready and waiting in a whole bunch of fandoms, including 40 FAKE fics and ficlets, and a bunch of FAKE drabbles.

I blame Contest Week over at fic_promptly. I just participated for the third time; it takes place every three months. First time I filled 42 prompts, second time I filled 45, this time I filled 47, plus one that didn't count because I missed the deadline. In between the Contest Weeks are the Challenge Weeks, where I usually write 6 or 7 prompt fills for, then there's fan_flashworks, three challenges per month and I write at least one piece for each challenge. Then there's the Torchwood drabbling community, and I often use the prompts there to inspire drabbles and fics for FAKE as well... Everything just keeps mounting up. I'm trying to post two pieces a day, but I just keep writing more so I never close the gap. I can't stop writing though!
