I have yet to crawl off to bed because it's Challenge Week at fic_promptly and I was looking for a suitable prompt for the Day 3 challenge. I've started writing for the one I picked, it's an author's choice prompt so I'm writing FAKE this time. Yesterday I wrote Torchwood. I'm alternating my favourite fandoms, lol!
I hope you have a wonderful New Year!
(And I hope I feel better soon too *sigh* I really must get to bed.)

I just had an interesting start to the new year where I have spent the last twenty minutes on the conservatory roof with a snow shovel and ski trousers, coat and hat pulled on over my pyjamas (a very classy look).
We developed quite a bad leek in the roof which I realised wasn't going to stop whilst there was still several inches of snow up there. It has slowed to just the occasional drip now, which we can put a bowl down to catch and deal with tomorrow.
Life's never dull...

At least the snow seems to be melting and it's a lot milder today. Or would be, if the wind wren't so cold!

I think I prefer the immediacy of Challenge Week to the long-drawn-out bingos. It's harder to leave everything to the last minute when you only have a day to complete a challenge, lol!
