If Dee sobered up that quickly, maybe he wasn't all that drunk to begin with and he was just whining so much because he wanted Ryo to take care of him... ;D

On the other hand, a sudden burst of adrenalin can render someone stone cold sober pretty fast sometimes I think. Of course, Dee is probably used to drinking, but beer more than wine. So, probably not too drunk but definitely feeling worse for wear. Ryo wasn't exactly sympathetic, lol!

Oh dear.
Poor Ryo - Dee should know better than to drink that much. Poor Dee too - hangovers aren't fun.
Amazing how quickly you can sober up when dropped into a serious situation.

Dee's a cop, first and foremost, and probably used to getting drunk too, lol. Still, he tries to gain Ryo's sympathy, with no luck. A rush of adrenalin would go some way towards sobering him up I guess.
