Ahh! *squees* Oh Simon, you sweet little thing. I know Jayne tried to sell you out, but really, you've all changed since then.

You did a great job with the voices~ Why did you stop writing this fandom [if you don't mind me asking]?

(err... hello again? XD I'm finally taking a break from school... it's insane here...)

I didn't 'stop' writing it, this is the only thing I've ever written for Firefly, it's just so hard to get the dialogue right, it's so distinctive. Writing one drabble took hours of watching clips and reading transcripts before I felt able to tackle it. It's unlikely I'll ever make another stab at it - I admire people who can just write it, especially if they can write River! I adore the show, but it's probably the hardest thing to write just because the way they talk is so unique.

Thank you!

LOL! Life has a habit of getting in the way, doesn't it!

Ahh, that makes sense, why I've never seen anything else for it in your fic list. XD

I think you did a really good job capturing the heart of the show; they may have bad beef and hard times, but in the end the crew is all each of them has.

In any case, it feels good to reconnect again with you guys in TW and all the other places I go on the 'net. I know for sure it's going to be tough balancing school (first semester junior year of college--supposedly, the most difficult!) and my new research without going [more] insane, but I'm looking forward to the challenge!

(Of course, I'm also looking forward to breaks and weekends and sleep. *cries* I remember sleep fondly. I know 8:40 really isn't that early to have class, but it sure feels it four days of the week!)

Classes at 8.40 in the morning would have KILLED me, even when I was young and thought nothing of working all day and getting to bed late, then getting up early. These days, 8am is too early to get out of bed, even though I do.

Thanks! I miss Firefly, I wish it hadn't been cancelled.

Good luck with college! Ah, to be young... I DO NOT miss school of any kind in the slightest. In still have nightmares about it over 30 years later. *shudders*

Thank you! I love learning, but I hate school sometimes. *frowns* For some reason, teachers have this need to interrupt learning with tests...

Teachers need to check sometimes that people are learning and not just sitting there I guess.
