The blast ripped the door right off its hinges and took out half the wall in the process. The Doctor ducked down, gripping his hat with one hand to keep it from being blown away, and turned to give Ace an indignant look.
“I only wanted to get the door open, not bring the whole building down.”
Ace shrugged. “Might’ve used a bit too much Nitro 9, but hey, we’re in. D’you think anyone heard that?”
Alarms and sirens started to blare as the Doctor straightened up. “I think that’s a distinct possibility. Ah well, the door’s open. After you.”
