BtVS Double Drabble: Demon Slime

Summary: Another of Buffy’s outfits gets ruined.

A/N: Double drabble.
“Nnnnhhhh!” It’s not a word exactly, but it accurately expresses Buffy’s distress and disgust. “This is so gross! Why do demons have to be all slimy? Now I’m gonna have to go home and change, and if mom catches me, she’ll kill me!”
In some ways, Buffy’s life was simpler BEFORE her mom knew she was the Slayer. These days she sighs and tuts over Buffy’s latest ruined outfit, asking such supremely unhelpful questions as, “Couldn’t you try to be a bit more careful with your clothes?”
It’s not like Buffy ENJOYS being liberally smeared with demon gunk, goo, and other even less pleasant substances; honestly, the Watcher’s handbook needs a new chapter on how to remove demon stains from various fabrics, and from human skin. Last month, she ended up with a green demon handprint on her arm that no amount of scrubbing would get rid of; it took almost three weeks to fade away and she had to wear long sleeves the entire time, because the only other way to hide it would have been to wrap a bandage around it. Not a good look.
Scraping the worst of the slime off, Buffy sighs. “I should’ve worn overalls.”
