Summary: Torchwood Three begins the process of rebuilding.

A/N: Double drabble.
The explosion that had ripped the Hub, not to mention Jack, apart had been devastating, although not as bad as it might have been if Ianto hadn’t succeeded in locking down the lower levels before Jack had sent him to safety.
Afterwards, when the foursome had returned to Cardiff from London, they’d been faced with the sight of a huge cordoned off crater in the Plas where their secret base should have been, and the prospect of trying to restore everything to how it had been before the explosion had been beyond daunting.
Now though, a team or Royal Engineers had cleared away the rubble, removing anything salvageable from the main Hub, and the rebuild was at last underway. There was still a lot to do, basic construction would take another couple of months at least, but getting their home away from home up and running again no longer seemed an impossibility.
The base wasn’t the only thing that needed rebuilding, however. The team of five had been reduced to three, not including Rhys, who already had a job with Harwoods Haulage. It was time to start thinking of recruiting new team members.
Torchwood Three would rise from the ashes.
