Another so cute chapter. I love the boys as lifelong friends, and can't wait to see them in drama club!

One day I might write some of the drama club stuff, but I had to skip a lot of things to get everything done. Even so, I had to split chapter 4 into three parts to post on LJ - took over 90 minutes to post because it kept removing all the line breaks and smooshing it all together. I'm knackered! This had been a day of frustrations and disasters, but I got it posted in the end!

The teachers being prepared for Jack with other roles in place of the female ones he always wants was cute. I do feel bad for him that he never gets the role he really wants, though he is more suited to the ones he's cast in.

“Way better than Rhiannon does. You already have better legs than her.”

I love how Jack got the nickname "Captain Jack". Captain Hook and Peter Pan holding hands was something you don't see every day, but I'm sure teaching Oliver to pick pockets was easier for Dodger while holding his hand. Right? I love that everyone's used to it now and no one says anything about it. I also love the boys quoting their parents teachings. They're so mature for their age.

I am woefully lacking in any kind of knowledge about kids - I dimly remember being one, long ago - so most of this is guesswork, trying to grow them up believably, though they may well be the best behaved teens ever, lol!

As you can tell, Jack has been trying on Rhi's dresses without her knowing ;) She'd kill him if she found out! He has a great belief in himself, and Ianto believes in him too. Sadly, the teachers don't have the same belief, so poor Jack never gets his dream role =(

I'd love to see Hook and Peter holding hands!

Goodness, they're growing up so fast. Jack really would make a perfect Captain Hook. Especially if he gets to wear a big coat! Too bad he doesn't get the parts he really wants. I love how they manage to hold hands everywhere, even in the plays. They're so supportive of each other.

*grins* They just hate being apart, both their families are used to sharing their son with another family, and both boys are now used to having two homes and two sets of parents, lol!

Poor Jack, the world is conspiring against him, but at least Ianto believes he can be anything he thinks he can be.
