Summary: Ianto had thought he’d have plenty of time to care for Lisa in between his duties around the Hub.

A/N: Double drabble.
Along with the added incentive of a living pterodactyl to sweeten the deal, offering himself as both butler and general dogsbody had helped Ianto get his foot in the door at Torchwood Three, which was what he’d been after. It had seemed like a good idea at the time; once he was inside, he could look for a safe corner to hide Lisa, then work on finding someone who could help her.
That had been the plan, a bit of filing and coffee-making, maybe some light custodial duties in between research into cybernetics specialists… How hard could it be? Then he’d seen the inside of the Hub for the first time, and judging by the mess, no one had bothered to clean anything in weeks, probably longer.
If he’d thought the main work area was bad, that was nothing compared to the archives, where artefacts were stored, and the bulk of the paperwork was filed. As far as Ianto could tell, the team’s idea of filing was to keep randomly cramming paperwork into a drawer until it was full, then buy another filing cabinet. How anyone ever found anything down there was beyond him!
So much for an easy workload.
