Summary: The Doctor knows that despite his best efforts, he has blood on his hands.

There’s blood on the Doctor’s hands, an indelible stain that no amount of washing can ever remove. He’d like to believe that it doesn’t exist, that he’s a man of peace, that violence has no place in his life, his mind, or his hearts, but it would be a lie.
He tries to be that person, the one who fixes everything without ever causing any harm to anyone, and much of the time he is, but that isn’t ALL he is.
Because he’s the Oncoming Storm. He tried to stop a war by destroying an entire race, and he failed.
