Summary: Two of the team are dead, but the others must carry on without them.

A/N: Double drabble.
Tosh and Owen are gone, they did their jobs to the best of their ability and made the ultimate sacrifice to save the city of Cardiff from a nuclear catastrophe. Thanks to them, the Turnmill Nuclear Facility is still mostly intact.
That their friends died as heroes is small consolation to the rest of the Torchwood Three team. Losing one of their colleagues would have been bad enough, but two at once is all but unbearable. It doesn’t matter that Owen had already been existing on borrowed time, it doesn’t matter that Tosh’s five-year contract was coming to an end and she might not have chosen to stay with Torchwood. All that matters is that two people who were like family to them lost their lives in tragic circumstances. It shouldn’t have happened.
“What are we going to do now?” Gwen asks through her tears.
“What we have to,” Ianto replies. “What we did after Suzie. First we pack up their lives, and then we get on with our jobs.”
“Just like that?”
“I didn’t say it would be easy, it won’t be, but we can’t just give up and walk away. They sacrificed themselves for us. We owe them.”
