FAKE Double Drabble: Dog Tricks

A/N: Double drabble and a half, 250 words.
Dee enjoyed teaching Dick the dog tricks. Not that he wasn’t already well trained; he would sit on command, shake paws, stay when he was told to, most of the time, and he wouldn’t touch his food until given permission by the use of a clicker. He also knew what the words ‘walkies’ and ‘dinner’ meant; his ears would perk up at the mention of either.
Nevertheless, he was only a few months old, not much more than a puppy, and his owner, Lillian Holloway, had still been training him when she’d suffered her accident. Dee had decided the dog should continue learning, and so far had taught Dick to drop whatever he had in his mouth on command, a necessity after the dog had somehow gotten hold of one of his and Ryo’s sex toys and hadn’t wanted to give it up.
He'd also taught Dick to beg, which his owner probably wasn’t going to be happy about, to play dead, and to bark on command. Dogs were a whole lot easier to train than cats!
“Hey, Ryo, check this out!” Dee said when Ryo arrived home from grocery shopping. “I taught the mutt a new trick! He’s a sausage dog, right?”
“Miniature dachshund,” Ryo corrected.
“I know that, but they’re also called sausage dogs.”
Ryo nodded. “Sometimes.”
“Okay.” Dee called the dog to him, showing him a treat. “Roll over,” he commanded.
Dick dropped the short distance to the floor, rolled, and was rewarded.
Dee grinned. “Sausage roll!”
