I think Buffy has always had a lot of self-doubt, but Faith really made her question herself.

How often does a Slayer meet another Slayer?*pause*

Okay, there was Kendra. But she was the total opposite of Faith. And sadly short lived.

Before Buffy, probably never because there's only supposed to be one Slayer at a time. One dies, the next is called, but even though Buffy only died briefly it was enough to bring Kendra into the picture, and when Kendra was killed Faith was called.

Yeah. I can't help but think of the time where Buffy asked Spike how he killed two Slayers, because she wanted to learn from it.

Yes. Eventually Faith would have been summoned. I just wanted Kendra to have stayed a little longer. Before we got all the Faith drama.
