A/N: Triple drabble.
Dee had spent years trying to win his partner’s heart. Maybe the way he’d gone about wooing the fair Ryo, pouncing on him to steal kisses, hadn’t been the most subtle, and he’d probably crossed the line into what could be described as sexual harassment more than once, but Ryo was simply too oblivious when it came to flirting. If he hadn’t been so direct, Dee knew Ryo would never have noticed. Some people needed to be shown rather than told, so Dee had shown him in every way he knew how.
Besides, for all his protests to the contrary, Dee knew that Ryo had enjoyed being kissed. If he hadn’t, Dee would have received a swift punch to the mouth the way that rat bastard Berkeley Rose had. Ergo, Ryo had wanted Dee’s kisses, even back when he hadn’t been ready to admit it to himself.
That had been quite some time ago though. These days, Ryo welcomed Dee’s kisses, often being the initiator, and he was learning to enjoy the groping. He was even willing to do a bit of groping himself. It still made him blush, which Dee found cute and weirdly sexy, but he was getting more hands-on, rather than just lying there when they were together. He wanted to learn how to please Dee the way Dee pleased him, and despite still having a few lingering hang-ups, he was a fast learner.
Pouncing was no longer necessary. Dee was learning to ask instead of trying to jump his baby’s bones, and while the answer wasn’t always yes, the yesses were by now more frequent than the alternative.
All that being said, however, there was still a place for the direct approach, especially when Ryo was looking all dishevelled and gorgeous like this.
Smirking, Dee pounced.
