One minute they’d been sitting on the daybed in Dee’s apartment, with Dee looking more lost and scared than Ryo had ever seen him, and then…
Ryo didn’t remember either of them moving, but now he was pressed against the pile of cushions, Dee half on top of him, Dee’s tongue in his mouth, Dee’s arm around him holding him close, and it was impossible to think straight. He knew he should push Dee away, tell him no, tell him to stop, but he couldn’t seem to summon the will.
Dee was hurting, and Ryo had wanted to comfort his partner, do whatever it took to make him feel better, but not like this, not with Dee taking advantage of his compassionate nature to try once again to seduce him.
He knew Dee was worried about Mother; the elderly nun had been badly injured in the explosion. Ryo was worried for her too, but that was no excuse for any of this!
Then Dee was pulling back, painfully tweaking Ryo’s nose, berating him for not trying to escape, and Ryo was left confused, his shirt hanging undone. When had that happened?
He’d never felt so completely out of his depth.
