“What’s up?” Dee asked, seeing Ryo staring at something in his hand. Having moved in with Dee just over a week ago, he’d been unpacking the last few boxes he’d brought with him, stowing their contents in the proper places.

“Hm?” Ryo looked up at his lover. “Oh, I just found this at the bottom of one of the boxes.” He held up a piece from a jigsaw. “But I don’t know which puzzle it’s from.” He gestured to the stack of jigsaws he’d already put away in a cupboard.

“So you were lookin’ at it hopin’ to find a clue?” Dee was grinning.

“Something like that,” Ryo admitted. “Only it’s too small to show much detail. There are six or seven it COULD be from, but no way of knowing for sure, and I don’t want to just shove it in a box at random. That would just cause confusion.”

“Yeah, nothin’ worse than spendin’ hours tryin’ to fit a piece into a puzzle when it doesn’t belong. There’s one sure-fire solution though.”

“There is?”

“Yep! Do the puzzles and see which one has a piece missin’.” Dee reached for a box. “How ‘bout we start with this one?”
