It's not a complete fix-it, but I fixed the main thing so Jack could have a happy ever after with his Ianto, enjoying adventures in space. Ianto's not immortal in this universe - yet. I'm sure Jack will find a way to fix that though.

Jack will always be burdened with the loss of Steven, but at least with Ianto at his side, he can have a reasonably happy life for the foreseeable future. That is, until you tell us how he finds a way to keep Ianto with him longer, if not forever. We can wait.

I don't have plans for a sequel at the moment - I'm already swamped with half-written fics as it is - but I'm sure this version of Jack will find a way to make Ianto immortal. After all, they belong together =)

Thank you! I couldn't completely fix CoE in this one, but I did what I could to give Ianto and Jack a happy future together.
