Heavy chains were now coiled around the TARDIS where the Doctor had parked her in what he’d thought was an abandoned building. A gang of young toughs stood around her, armed with baseball bats and knives. One was swinging a bicycle chain.
“What’s this?”
“You’re on our territory.” The leader grinned. “You want your box back, you gotta pay. Don’t even think of goin’ to the coppers.”
“What do you want?”
“A thousand quid. For rent, see?”
“That’s too much.”
“Everything’s expensive in London.”
“My money’s inside.”
“Fine, go get it.”
Moments later, the TARDIS dematerialised, leaving the chains behind.
