A/N: Double drabble.
Dee and Ryo were relaxing in front of the TV after a tiring and frustrating day at work when Dick the dachshund suddenly raised his head from where it was resting on Dee’s foot, his floppy ears pricking up as much as they were able. He gave a soft whine and jumped to his feet, scampering towards the door.
“What now?” Dee grumbled. “He can’t wanna go out again already. I only walked him half an hour ago.”
Ryo set his coffee mug aside. “I’ll take him if you want.”
“Nah, it’s okay, you already made dinner, so you should get to relax; I’ll see to the mutt.” Hauling himself off the sofa, he padded over to the door. Dick wasn’t acting like he wanted out, he was just sniffing and making little huffing noises. Frowning, Dee opened the door to find Suki sitting outside.
“Mrow!” she said, stalking past him to lick Dick’s ears.
“Woof!” Dick replied, wagging his tail vigorously.
“Huh.” Dee scowled at the two animals before closing the door and returning to the sofa. “Looks like the mutt arranged a play date without tellin’ us.”
Ryo chuckled. “At least he doesn’t have to go out again.”
