“You can’t fire me, I quit!” Owen yelled, storming out of Jack’s office. Snatching his leather jacket from the back of his chair, he strode towards the cogwheel door, which rolled aside to the accompaniment of flashing lights and alarms, leaving Tosh staring after him with her mouth open.
She turned as Torchwood’s leader came out of his office. “Jack, did you fire Owen?”
“Nope, I just told him he needed to get his act together. He’s come in with a hangover every day this week.”
“He’s quit every day this week too,” Ianto pointed out. “He’ll be back tomorrow.”
