A/N: Double drabble.
It took a bit of juggling, but Ryo managed to get himself, Dee, Bikky, and Carol booked on the same flight out of England. They even managed to get seats mostly together, with Bikky sitting by the window, Carol between him and Ryo, and Dee just across the aisle. It meant travelling economy class, but by this point none of them really cared; at least they were going home. So much for a relaxing getaway.
“So, are your vacations always like that?” Dee asked as they settled as comfortably as they could into their seats and buckled themselves in, ready for take-off. “Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for excitement and adventure, but a heads-up in advance would’a been nice, so I’d know what I was gettin’ myself into.”
Ryo managed a wry smile. “I’ve never had anyone try to murder me before; there wasn’t anything about serial killers in the brochure, otherwise I would’ve picked a different hotel.”
“Maybe you should sue the travel company.”
“It wasn’t their fault.” Ryo rubbed his injured arm. “Next time I put in for vacation though, I’m seriously considering just staying home.”
“Yeah, you’d probably be a whole lot safer in New York.”
