A/N: Double drabble.
Ianto’s life was not exactly like a regular person’s. Sure, he and Jack weren’t the only male couple to be raising children, although unlike most of the others they hadn’t adopted or used a surrogate to bring their three bundles of joy and sometimes abject horror into the world.
They were, however, probably the only parents who co-ran a secret organisation that dealt with aliens, and also had alien family members. Nosy and the Flufflets were definitely not pets, even if they had some pet-like traits.
Today, Ianto was feeling a bit frazzled. Meriel was at school, Jack was at work, and the three-year-old twins were living up to their reputation as Holy Terrors. By mid-morning, their poor Flufflets had been exhausted, so Ianto had forced his monsters into their coats and shoes, and dragged them to the park to burn off their excess energy. Where they got it all from considering they’d spent most of the night having pillow fights, he didn’t know. Despite being immortal, Ianto felt like he was operating on fumes.
As the twins ran around screaming, Ianto collapsed onto a bench. Why didn’t anyone run obedience training classes for toddlers like the ones for dogs?
