I never thought too much about why that was the case until others complained about gender identification through colour.

It's so stupid. Anyone should feel free to wear any colour as long as it suits their complexion. It's why I love Ianto in his pink shirts =)

That's like if a woman wanted to wear blue shirts. Does that make her any less of a woman?!

BTW: I use to wear blue alot. So I maybe projecting here.

I wear blue all the time, have for as long as I can remember. I also wear pink, red, and black. The only reason I don't wear yellow is because it looks awful on me. Colours are colours, everyone should be free to wear whatever they like.
