“I’m gettin’ too old for this,” Dee groaned, shoving the door closed behind him, kicking off his shoes, and dragging himself wearily to the sofa. “Used to be, I could dance half the night, get totally hammered, then be up bright and early for work. Now here I am, it’s barely one in the mornin’, and I’m beat. I just wanna crawl into bed and sleep.”

“Poor Dee, you’re thirty-five and already feeling past it,” Ryo teased. He was tired too, it had been a long week, but Dee had dragged him out to a club anyway, saying they needed to let their hair down and have some fun. He’d been right too; it had been good to forget about work for a while and let the music fill his head instead. A couple of shots of tequila had helped get him into more of a party mood. “I guess you’re officially over the hill.”

“If I am, then so are you,” Dee grumbled. “You’re a year older.” He opened his eyes to glare at his lover and his mouth went dry. Ryo stood before him, naked.

“Coming to bed?”

Dee jumped up. “Suddenly I don’t feel tired at all.”
