Summary: Some areas of the Hub are a bit of a squeeze.

A/N: Double drabble.
For all the Hub’s size, with its many levels and high ceilings, some areas were a bit on the cramped side, the main problem being what was laughably termed the kitchen.
Tucked away in a corner beneath the spiral staircase, there was a massive old-fashioned refrigerator, a bench holding a computer, a microwave, and the coffee machine, a couple of drawers with cupboards underneath for mugs and plates, and a small sink.
It wasn’t efficient. The staircase got in the way, and there was precious little room for manoeuvre, so when Ianto was making the team’s mid-morning coffee, and Jack decided to raid the biscuit tin at the same time, disaster was practically guaranteed.
“Jack, can’t you wait two minutes?” Ianto snapped as his lover squeezed past behind him.
“I’m hungry!” Jack whined, reaching for the biscuits as Ianto opened the airtight container where the coffee beans were stored and went to scoop some out of the bag inside.
“If you jog my elbow…” Beans scattered everywhere, rolling across the bench and onto the floor. “Damnit, Jack!” Only a quick grab saved the entire container from going the same way.
“I’m sorry!”
Ianto sighed, exasperated. “We need a bigger kitchen!”
