Sam had more sense than the woman. Nosy may look unusual, but hardly threatening Goldens are so gentle and friendly, I've been very involved with many over the years. My sister bred and showed them

I have fond memories of the first Golden I ever met, on holiday when I was a kid. His name was Jason and he was such a lovely, gentle dog.

People are more apt to be scared of anything unfamiliar. Dogs would recognise Nosy for a friend.
