A/N: Double drabble.
Okay, so Ryo could be an airhead, but this was out of character even for him. He knew Dee was coming over this evening, and yet he wasn’t home, the apartment was locked, and he wasn’t answering his phone. He wasn’t down in the basement doing laundry either.
Dee was pacing back and forth inside the apartment, having let himself in with his own key, wondering what he should do now, when the door finally opened, and his lover came in.
“Where were you?”
“Sorry, had to go to the store. Thought I’d be back before you got here, but it took longer than I expected.”
“I’ve been goin’ crazy, callin’ ya every five minutes, worryin’ something bad must’a happened to ya. I was about ready to send out a search party! You could’a at least answered you phone!”
Ryo smiled sheepishly. “I couldn’t, I broke it; that’s why I had to go to the store.”
“You broke your phone? How’d you do that.”
“I was loaded down with groceries, trying to get the door unlocked, and didn’t realise my phone must’ve fallen out of my pocket when I got my keys out. I trod on it.”
Dee snorted. “Genius.”
