I'm a bit late with this due to a busy few days, but I wanted to take the time to thank everyone for their birthday messages, emails etc.; far too many to list individually, I'd be here all day and I'm sure you'd much rather I post a drabble instead, lol! So instead I'll just say a big thank you to everyone, you know who you are! Oh no! It looks like the v-gift I sent you didn't go through. :( It was supposed to be a chocolate tort. I kept getting error messages from LJ when I was trying to place the order but they finally did take my money. Guess it never made it to you. I'm sorry--I was thinking of you!

Sometimes my internet connection and LJ don't play well together, resulting in a lot of strange things happening! Posts going missing, comments posting before I mean them to, or twice, that kind of thing. I'm just sorry you got caught up in it this time.

I've been trying to get some writing done, but what I'm working on for my bingo is like pulling teeth at the moment. It doesn't help that I sent some questions off to the bingo mods two days ago and still no reply. I can't really decide where I'm going with this fic until I know whether I can use 4 parts of one fic for four squares in a row, with something unrelated for the fifth square and whether, if I do two bingo lines that intersect, whether I have to write 2 fics for the intersecting square. o_O

(Yes, I AM trying to work on a second line when I've only done one and three quarter fics for my first line. Mad, aren't I?)

I hope you hear back from them soon! Those are tricky issues, especially if you are using a drabble series, which is a bit unconventional. I think I thoroughly confused the mods over at hc_bingo with mine, and they've seen a lot! :-p

I DID hear back! I don't have to do the same square twice, though I'd get extra points if I did, and I can do my story as chapters to fill the prompts - it's not a drabble sries, it's actually quite long and rambly, totally AU with Jack and Ianto as children, using the First Meeting, Wild Casrd (characters as children), Building/Creating something and Play squares. The Miniatures square will be a standalone with the boys shrunk down to action figure size, trying to get back to the Hub through Cardiff at night. Haven't started that one yet, I'm waiting for my Cardiff and Newport street map to arrive.

I've done the True Love/Soul Mate square, that's almost ready to post. timelordshines is betaing the Desert fic and I have a beta for the child Jack & Ianto fics. I still have others to sort out and write though, so when I get to that point, would you be interested in betaing something

Wow, sounds like you're really rolling along. You're approaching this like a military operation, with precision and planning, which is great!

And my bingo writing has currently stalled. Blame me not feeling great the last few days and now I have a migraine. *sigh* Still, hopefully I can get back to writing next week. I'm a bit stuck with 8-year-old Jack and Ianto helping to make their costumes for the school production of Wizard of Oz - they're the Cowardly Lion and Tin Man respectively. still trying to settle on how to make Jack's lion outfit. It's for the Building/Creating something square. Any suggestions
