A really powerful depiction of what it was like for Jack. He must have wondered if he could come back from that. Perhaps he was a little bit hopeful that he wouldn't, though I'm sure he regretted leaving his team. They of course stepped up to the mark and did what was necessary Apart from selfish Gwen who only thought of her own wants. I like to think her nose was truly out of joint when Jack came back and realised where his heart truly lay

Thank you. I'm sure a part of him hoped this would be the end, but he survived.

Gwen really got her nose rubbed in the fact that Ianto was the one Jack wanted. She left all the work to the others, thought she'd won some kind of victory, and Jack kissed Ianto.
